Victoria Beckham (Born Victoria Adams) was norm on April 17th 1974. She came from a wealthy background however was not someone who liked to flaunt her wealth and hated being driven to school in her father's Rolls Royce.

In 1980 Victoria watched the film "Fame" which is a musical about a group of students as they go through their studies at a performing arts school in New York. This inspired her to go to a performing arts school herself and her parents enrolled her into Jason Theatre School in Enfield.

In 1994 Victoria responded to an advert in The Stage newspaper, the advert was looking for "streetwise, outgoing, ambitious" girls who could sing and dance. After interviewing around 400 women for the opportunity Victoria Adams (Posh) was selected along with: Melanie "Scary" Brown, Emma "Baby" Bunton, Melanie "Sporty" Chisholm and Geri "Ginger" Halliwell. They lived together while rehearsing in a house rented in Maidenhead.

After a few months (February 1995) they split from the Herberts who had brought them together in the first place and signed a contract with Simon Fuller who really propelled them to stardom.

In 1997 Posh attended a Manchester United football game and met David Beckham who requested a meeting with her after seeing the Spice Girls video to "Say You'll Be There" he reputedly pointed to Posh and said "That's the girl for me and I'm going to get her!" and told the Sun that "She's my idea of perfection".

In 1998 Geri Halliwell left the Spice Girls and this spelt the beginning of the end for the Spice Girls who did for a time carry on without Geri, however as other commitments started to take priority over the girls music - they eventually broke up later that year.

In 1999 Victoria and David had their first son Brooklyn, named after where he was concieved, initially the Beckham's received a lot of stick for naming their child Brooklyn - but over time people came to accept the unusual name.

In 2001 Victoria released a single titled "Not Such an Innocent Girl" and a self titled debut album, however the single and album didn't fair too well and only reached number 10 in the UK charts.

In 2002 Victoria had her second son Romeo, initially she was hoping for a girl (Who was to be named Paris). The name Romeo was chosen because the Beckham's liked the name, unlike naming their last son after a place.

In 2003 Victoria teamed up on a project with Damian Dash a US Hip - Hop artist, however the project fizzled out before getting very far, however this left an opening for Victoria to explore one of her other interests - namely fashion - since then she has worked on collections with a few international design labels.

In 2005 Victoria gave birth to her third son Cruz who is named after the Spanish word for "Cross", it is a common surname in Spain, however it is uncommon as a forename and the spelling "Cruz" is normally associated with girls.

In 2006 Victoria Published her own fashion guide titled "That Extra Half Inch" and has created her own collection under her own brand named "DVB". In her own words "I dreamed of doing my own clothing line even before I was a Spice Girl" And not to blow her own trumpet "And I've found I'm really good at it".

In 2007 Victoria and her family moved to the USA as her Husband David signed with a major US Soccer team.
