Victoria Beckam, a product of the prestigious Jason Theatre School and Laine Arts Theatre College, has had a love of music and dance from an early age. After her marriage to footballer David, Victoria sought to reignite the old magic she had created with her friends in the Spice Girls. In 2000, they released their third album, Forever. Although a hit in its own right, it simply failed to live up to the magic that the Spice Girls had created previously. Later, she tried her hand at releasing solo albums. She did her eponymous solo album in 2001, after the Spice Girls had decided to take a hiatus. This did not receive the expected fanfare, and is the singer’s last solo effort. She now designs her own jeans and designer sunglasses, and spends much of her time with her family. Her passion for fashion was evident when the couple was recently in the news for being one of only 2,000 people, entitled to buy fashion sensation Valentino’s new book, Valentino Garavani: First Name in Fashion for Christmas of 2007. The cost was $640 and it was signed by the author. This is just one of the many marks of David’s involvement with his wife’s profession; earlier, he was named a Spice Boy for accompanying the band. Despite the cameo appearances from David, the Spice Girls are frantically looking for a man for their team’s last remaining spinster; Geri Halliwell. The single lady has a one-year-old daughter, named Bluebell Madonna.
