Victoria Beckham became a mother for the second time on September 1, 2002. The Spice Girl gave birth to her second son, Romeo, who weighed seven pounds four ounces. The baby boy was born by caesarian section. Proud papa David Beckham was the one who broke the news of the baby’s birth to all the waiting reporters outside the hospital. This was the famous couple’s second child together. David was obviously thrilled to be a second time father, and his family was extremely excited to add a new grandchild to the family. Brooklyn, the couple’s first child, was fascinated with his little brother and, according to the Beckhams, adores him. The Beckham family consists of three children now, and there is currently no plan for a fourth, although Victoria has mentioned it would be nice to have a little girl running around. The family now lives in Los Angeles, and is enjoying being stateside. Romeo is now five years old. David Beckham plays professional soccer for the Los Angeles Galaxy, and is also an underwear fashion model. Victoria has been successful in writing two best selling books, making regular appearances on television and reuniting with the Spice Girls for a recent world tour. The Beckhams are a family that is constantly getting attention from the media whether it’s good or bad press. This can make it difficult to raise children, when both parents are mega stars. However, the couple still manages, or at least seems to manage, to make time for the kids.
