Victoria was a part of a band called Persuasion during her college days. After completing her 3-year course from the Laine Theatre Arts College, she responded to an advertisement in a magazine named the “The Stage”. It was advertised that five girls were needed, who had the capability to sing and dance. Victoria was chosen and history began from there. One of the other girls in the group was Emma Lee Bunton. When Victoria and Emma were kids, they took part in a play together. Later, Emma Bunton was given a nickname by the media and was called “Baby Spice”. Then, there was Geri Halliwell. Victoria also met Geri Estelle Halliwell whilst both of them were auditioning for a role in “Tank Girl” in 1995. Later, Geri was nicknamed by the media as “Ginger Spice”. Melanie Jayne Chisholm and Victoria both knew each other from rival schools when both of them were 15. Likewise, the media nicknamed Melanie as “Sporty Spice”. Only Victoria and Melanie Janine Brown met each other whilst they were auditioning during the formation of the band. “Scary Spice” was the nickname that the press rewarded Melanie with. Finally, Victoria Adams was nicknamed as “Posh Spice”.

Thus, the Spice Girls was formed. They started their musical journey and achieved international fame and success. Spice Girls started performing at sold-out concerts. They began touring and even made a movie, “Spice World” in 1997.
