Victoria Beckham was the only member of the Spice Girls, not to have a UK number one single, which the other Spice Girls’ members enjoyed as solo artists. When her first solo single was released, titled Out of Your Mind, Victoria faced a healthy competition with “Groovejet” by Spiller, which featured Sophie Ellis-Bextor. But after a strong chart battle, she was outperformed by Ellis-Bextor and she got the second position in the 'UK Singles Chart'. On the release of her second solo single, Not Such an Innocent Girl, she faced further strong competition from Kylie Minogue’s Can’t Get You out of My Head. Again, Victoria was outsold and she reached the sixth position in the charts. Thus, she made her position in the music industry and also in other spheres of business when she launched her range of products and fragrances. She explored the world of television and also wrote two books, both of which became best sellers. The rights of the book that she wrote on fashion was sold to the United States of America, Holland, Russia, Portugal, Japan, Lithuania and most recently in China. Recently, Victoria and David have re-located to Los Angeles, California on 12th July 2007. Currently, they reside in a Beverly Hills mansion, which cost them £22 million, and is guarded by 10 security guards. Following her marriage, she is considered to be the 52nd richest woman in Britain. With her husband, she is reputed to be the 619th richest person in Britain, with a joint wealth of £112 million.
