After stepping into the world of fashion, it is said that Victoria Beckham got more recognition as an international style icon than what she gained from being a music artist. She was seen making a guest appearance on the catwalk for Maria Grachvogel in 2000. This became her debut as a model in London Fashion Week. Besides walking on the ramp, she also became the British ambassador for the famous “Dolce and Gabbana” and she also became the face for Rocawear in 2003 for a short span. In 2004, she designed a limited edition fashion line for “Rock and Republic”, which was named as “VB Rocks”. The designs that she contributed for the jeans were mainly aimed for the high – end market and those pairs were approximately sold at a retail price of $300 in the United States of America. She was already familiar with Michael Ball, the designer for Rock and Republic, from Los Angeles. Michael appreciated her work and said that besides understanding the latest fashion and trends, she has also been a trendsetter and fashion icon for years.

It was on 16th January 2006 that she walked the runway at Milan Fashion Week for Roberto Cavalli, a well reputed fashion designer from Florence, Italy, who specializes in designing modern and luxury clothing. She got an exclusive dress designed by Roberto Cavalli for the red carpet and some other social events. Apart from these, Victoria Beckham is also fond of possessing vintage collections from Guccis and Carreras.
